Tips & Toys

 Just got back from the Toy Fair and found some amazing new toys and products.  One of our favorites, which we snagged for our clinic, is a standing scooter that works by shifting your weight back and forth.  We especially like this bike because it will help our kids with developing body awareness,  motor control, and balance all while standing on a stable but moving surface.  This scooter will really help build a kid’s confidence!  The bike comes in different sizes and will be fun for kids around ages 4 to 99.  So cool!

Tips and Toys Goes to the Toy Fair!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we began our journey with Tips and Toys.  And what a year it’s been!  An internet store sounds like a simple idea, but we have learned that it is not as easy as it looks.  Developing a website is one thing but an online store that actually works, is something else entirely!  We appreciate the patience of our customers over this past year as we got it all figured out.

So, we are off tomorrow to NYC see all the new toy offerings from around the world.  Last year we found that many of the specialty toy companies are refusing sales to online companies, but we are happy to announce that due to our concept of providing learning boxes, and not selling items individually, we will be able to bring home toys that are not readily found online and at conventional toy stores.

We’ll be combing the aisles to bring back the best in unusual and hard to find educational toys.  We can’t wait to share what we find!
